Since 2012, we’ve worked to make good design accessible — combining timeless shapes, durable materials, and thoughtful colour palettes with frames made from bio-based or recycled materials. Every pair is designed in Denmark and crafted with care by trusted partners in Taiwan.

Responsibility in every frame
At Have A Look, we believe that good design and responsible production belong together. Our eyewear is made to last — in both style and quality — using materials and processes chosen with care for people and the planet.
Every pair of Have A Look glasses is made from bio-based or recycled materials. Our bio-based frames are made from Rilsan® PA11, a renewable material derived from castor beans, while our recycled frames are produced from high-quality recycled polycarbonate. Each frame is designed for durability, comfort, and a lighter footprint — without compromise on design or function.
All felt cases are made from 100% GRS-certified recycled post-consumer polyester, produced from used plastic bottles. Our eco-tech cotton pouches are crafted from responsibly sourced cotton blends. We use FSC®-certified paper and cardboard for all packaging and reuse shipping boxes whenever possible. Even our in-store displays are designed for long-term use — built from durable materials that can easily be refreshed or reused season after season.
Our eyewear is made in close collaboration with trusted production partners in Taiwan, chosen for their craftsmanship, precision, and shared commitment to responsible manufacturing.
Responsibility, for us, is not a label — it’s a continuous practice. We work every day to improve our materials, minimise waste, and make well-designed eyewear that feels good to wear — and good to choose.
A Pair of Glasses Can Change a life!
Everyone deserves good vision – but not everyone has access to glasses. In parts of the world where glasses are rare and expensive, poor eyesight can have serious consequences. A single pair of glasses can make a world of difference – helping someone go to school, work, and live more independently.
At Have A Look, good design also means care. Every year, we donate thousands of glasses to both large international aid organisations and smaller, local projects. We support volunteer opticians and eye specialists who travel to provide eye care in places where glasses are a luxury – and we contribute to local initiatives that make sure the glasses reach the people who need them most.
Our prices are fair all year, and we never run sales – instead, we give back in ways that truly make a difference.
The Have A look story
Have A Look was founded in Denmark in 2012 by a Danish design duo with a simple idea: to make stylish, well-made reading glasses accessible to everyone. Since 2019, Christina Kattrup Schrøder has been the sole owner and creative lead at Have A Look.
What began as a small Danish design venture has grown into an international eyewear brand — with retailers in more than 20 countries and our own webshops serving customers worldwide.
With a background in lifestyle communication, concept development, and magazine publishing, Christina has always been driven by a love of design and storytelling. Turning her focus to eyewear, she saw a gap in the market: stylish, well-crafted reading glasses were either hard to find or unreasonably expensive — and she set out to change that.
Today, Have A Look stays true to its founding vision: eyewear that looks good, feels good, and does good — combining Danish design, responsible materials, and fair prices for all.
